Ep.1 - The Boy in the Iceberg:
Aya and Sokka find Aang in an iceberg while on a fishing trip. They take him back to the village where he takes Aya penguin sledding and stumble onto an old Fire Nation ship. Aang convinces Aya to explore it, which leads to them triggering a trap that sends a flare, which alerts Zuko to their location.
Ep.2 - The Avatar Returns:
Aang is banished from the village by Sokka and Gran-Gran for what he did and Aya almost leaves with him, because she thinks he can help her master waterbending. Aang leaves, only to see Zuko's ship approaching the village, so he races back to help them defend it. Sokka attempts to protect the village by himself, at which he fails spectacularly (Aya would also probably try to fight Zuko at this point). Aang arrives after Sokka(and Aya)'s failed attempt to stop Zuko. Aang surrenders on the condition that Zuko leave the village alone. After he is captures, Aya and Sokka, with Gran-Gran's blessing, go after him on Appa. Meanwhile, Aang escapes by himself and then reunites with the siblings. They fight Zuko and his men until Aang enters the Avatar State and ends the fight quickly. Sokka and Aya realize he's the Avatar at this point. After the fight, they leave on Appa with Zuko vowing to get Aang.
Ep.3 - The Southern Air Temple:
The trio are travelling towards the Southern Air Temple - Aang's home. Meanwhile, Zuko attempts to hide the fact that they've found the Avatar from Admiral Zhao, so no one else looks for him, but Zhao has interrogated Zuko's troops and knows about Aang. Meanwhile, Aang is depressed at the fact that the air temple is deserted, with Sokka (and possibly Aya) trying to cheer him up. The siblings find a fire nation helmet and hide it from Aang so he still has hope that the Air Nomads weren't killed, but instead managed to escape. There's a flashback of Aang with monk Gyatso. Meanwhile, Zhao orders Zuko to abandon his search for the Avatar and that he'll take over. The Gaang explore the Temple and meet Momo. Zuko challenges Zhao to an Agni Kai. Aang finds Gyatso's skeleton and enters the Avatar state, which makes all Avatar statues the world over light up, informing the Fire Sages of the Avatar's return, who in turn, inform Ozai. Zuko defeats Zhao in the Agni Kai, after which Iroh humiliates the Admiral for not taking his loss with honor. Aya manages to calm Aang down(possibly by telling him to focus his anger at their enemies instead).
